I decided to talk more about France, seeing as I LIVE here. In order to do this, I am going to post my journal entries.

November 18th, 2011

I woke up this morning to the quiet vibration of my alarm.
Tired and shaken from bad dreams, I longed to retreat back into sleep. I rolled over and quieted my iPod.
I opened my eyes, and realized I had drifted off again. I checked the time, and my heart skipped a beat.
I leaped out if bed like a deer.

I rushed around, getting ready, preparing for what lay ahead. In such a hurry, I forgot several of the most crucial parts of my mornings.
Sprinting downstairs in hope not to be late, I grabbed a cookie.
I snatched up my sack and jacket and rushed out the door.

My morning was a blur.
Before I even felt slightly awake, I found my self gingerly munching away at some sort of meat I could not name.

Excited for the weekend, I tried to stay conscious for the rest of school that remained.

So how was it?
Do I have any future as a writer?

So!! Hi every one! How's school going? Mine is good. Difficult, but good. My school supplies from last year that I am reusing looked a little worn, so I decided to decoupage them!! I Just decoupaged my stylo plume (fountain pen) and it looks great. I also redid Oscars unused soccer agenda and decoupaged my lock to distinguish it. They look great!! My notebooks all have a very faint outline of a lion, and I was thinking that I would cut out a white lion and tape it on, then decoupage that. What do you think?

To decoupage something it is very easy. Or at least, the way I do it is. I begin with some old origami, cutouts from magazines, news paper, almost any kind of paper I can get my hands on. Then, using a glue stick, or liquide glue, or mod podge, I stick the papers to my objects. After that, I am basically finished. For extra support, I usually put a coat of glue on top of the decoupage. You can use your fingers to rub it in, or sponge brushes, or actual sponges. It smoothes it, and keeps paper cuts away. If the corners of my paper start sticking up, a dab of glue on top and bottom will fix that.

My mom likes to mix mod podge with water to make it thinner, and more like paint. then, she puts a coat of it onto her object and it doesn't dry as fast, so she can just set things onto it.

It is easiest to decoupage flat surfaces, but i think it is possible to decoupage anything solid.

Hi everyone!! This is Maude, I'm 12 years old. I decided that since we live in FRANCE, I would change this blog to a blog about France, and our life here. I hope most of you read english, because I cannot write in french yet. I will tell you a little about France now, and if you want to here more, please comment. I do love comments.

The orthodontists don't have very many colors, and if you know me, you know that I love colors. I have been working on my french, and it is really difficile. I think I'm getting better, though. Everyone here seems to have at least 1 cherry tree, or at least everyone around us. The cherries are very good. I am not very open minded about which foods i like and don't like, so at first, I had convinced myself that I hated cherries.
That makes it hard to live in France. School is hard in some ways, such as that we don't understand anything at all, almost. Except in english. We ace that class. Easy things are some teachers let us read while everyone else takes a pop quiz. In technology, they purposely switched the program on our computer to english. In the library, the librarian searched out all of the english or easy french books for us. Everyone in France is very nice.

I made this word because I reasearched synonyms of imagination,
and some of them were phantasy, fantasy, and imaginare. A fantasy
is in my opinion, something totally untrue. People can imagine almost
anything! It can be true or not. That is why it is semi-phantacible; it is
partly, but not quite a total fantasy. I added the ending -ible because
then it is an adjective, meaning some kind of ability.

The boy’s picture of the flying pig was semiphantacible.
Albert Einstein’s pictures of flying machines were semiphantacible.
They seemed crazy at first, but ultimately, they were realistic.

Just Braid your hair in 6 little braids before you brush it. This works best after a shower or bath. Once it's braided , sleep a night and in the morning undo the braids. your hair will be wavy and there wont be many knots.

Hi! So today I'm gonna tell you about worry dolls. Here's a pic. You make them by getting the things on the bread that bend around, (2). Fold 1 in half. Twist the top. wrap embroidery floss around them. Put the second one behind the first an wrap it around and move it around till it looks like arms. wrap in embroidery floss around that. pot a short bead or embroidery floss around the head (the twisted part from the beginning). The little bit of the bendy thing that is left ca be used for tying on bits of extra embroidery floss to look like hair. hopefully if you click on the pic, you will see the dolls in actual size. First we went to the children's garden , then we went to the family center. There we made apple cider. We also made a family scare crow. We named it Michale. I made a corn husk doll with Olive. In the children's garden, We did apple prints, made field notebooks and made the most delictable apple sauce from just apple and cinnamon. After the family garden, we went to the rose garden. I colected a petal frm the ground of almost every bush. One rose was called Betty.

Mom put me in a gymnastics summer camp, and I got better and better.

Rubber band ball

This is a rubber band ball. I did not make it, but it looks a lot like mine. Here are some instructions on how to make it:
1. Get at least 100 rubber bands.

2.Find a small ball that can fit into your palm.

3. Put on one rubber band and repeat.

4.when there is no more of the ball showing, but the ball can still fit comfortably in your hand, add more layers.

Potholders

This is my favorite picture.( That is, without the pink and purple one.) The pattern is: all white in the back round, and rainbow on the inside.

These are some potholder bags I made. Olive wanted the pink and blue bag so I gave it to her.
( I'm not a fan of pink, and I wanted to get rid of it.)

These are some regular potholders I made. I call them : America , Vegetable, Rainbow, and flowers.

She was doing her homework when Elisabeth Heard a sudden KABOOM! KABAMMBAMM!!! She saw a flash of lightning srike her house. She tried to turn on her computer, but her power was out! Then she remembered what her cosin had said. Elizabeth told evryone she could get to that the thunderstorm would last for days and flud the entire U.S.A! None of them belived her! Now it was all up to her to save evrything in the U.S.A...

My 8-year-old Birthday

My birthday is on March, 4th to start with. You can probably see, it's comming very soon.
My mom (design Mom) has planed a big party just for me and I am very exited...
... since I am a really good rock climber, she planned my birthday at a rock climbing gym. She was on the phone all day long. Like I said I am very exited!

Tea Party

I went to a tea party for Bitty Baby. We had fondue. It tasted really good with marshmellows dipped in it and strawberries.

After we ate, we went downstairs and played family and made a house with the couch. Then we played dress-ups and Jacob woke up and started chasing everybody with a baton.
