Down by the bay

Down by the bay,
Where the watermelons grow,
Back to my home
I dare not go.
For if I do,
My Mother will say:
Did you ever see a fool, going to school Down by the bay?

Please think of more rhymes for Down by the Bay.

Hi, Maude. Is "down by the bay" a song or poem? Did you write it? Here are my rhymes:

Do not delay;
Let's all sashay
Down by the bay
On Christmas day.
Hip, hip, hooray!

(Pass the creme brulle',
Whadaya say?)

Love you!

My mother will say...

Did you ever see a teacher
Looking like a creature

Did you ever see a dog
Drooling like a hog

Did you ever see cat
In a polka-dot hat

Down by the bay!
